Product Review: The Curvy Kate Lottie

Product Review: The Curvy Kate Lottie

TweetHello Ladies, After seeing what new and exciting offerings Curvy Kate has planned for Spring 2013, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the sweet and girly print adorning the Lottie: Between the pink accents, vintage pattern, and sexy shorts, I knew I wanted to try the Lottie now to determine if the new version was worth pre-ordering in my size.  Rather than stay within my “basic black” comfort zone, I opted for the unique purple and coral combination: Sizing:  With Curvy Kate, I usually need a size 30HH, which is what I tried for the review.  The band on the Lottie feels firmer and less stretchy than my other CK bras (the Emily and the Tease Me), which I find refreshing.  Furthermore, I think the cup size is perfect.  Sometimes the Curvy Kate HH cup feels a touch small but the J cup is too large; however, the Lottie does not suffer from these problems.  In fact, the Lottie may be the most generous (or true-to-size, depending on your perspective) of the CK bras. Materials:  Per usual, the materials Curvy Kate uses are top notch.  The fabric on the bottom two sections of the cup is thicker and more rigid than many of the other bras I tried, but it still feels soft and comfortable.  Moreover, the mesh top cup is very breathable and feels great against the skin—an important feature during a scorching heat wave— and the floral embroidery along the top is not stiff or itchy.  Finally, the fully adjustable straps and firm, powernet wings are fantastic. Design & Fit:  Usually, I address the fit of the bra separate from the design, but I feel like my major caveat with this style relates to both aspects.  When I first tried the Lottie, the fit seemed “off”
