Spring/Winter Lingerie Fashion Preivew: Parfait by Affinitas

Hello Ladies,

Parfait recently joined our store inventory, but we’ve already seen such a positive response that we can’t wait to add more styles!  One of the reasons I love Parfait, as a retailer, is they tend to keep fashion stock around longer than most other brands, meaning women who need to wait to order or who come in after the pre-order cut off date still have an opportunity to buy the bra.  For spring, I love how they have included some gorgeous longline options (at a fraction of the price of other brands) as well as focused on giving women entire lingerie sets.  Their soft color palette of whites and pinks feels fresh and delicate while still providing versatility under spring and summer’s lighter-colored clothes.

Because I had to scan the images from my catalog, they are not the same quality as the Eveden pictures, but you can still appreciate the design.

  • Sophisticated Pair says:  Parfait mixes a traditionally masculine pinstripe with pale pink and sexy black lace accents for a unique fashion set.  I love the sheer lace panels on the matching undies too.
  • Price:  $48.00 for Balconet bra, $46.00 for Half Padded Bra, and $65.00 for Bustier
  • Ship Date:  March 15
  • Sizes:  30-40 D-G

  • Sophisticated Pair says:  Parfait creates sexy camisoles, bustiers, and babydolls that provide excellent support to make you feel beautiful—a design tactic perfectly illustrated by the Sophia.
  • Price:  $49.00 for T-Shirt Bra, $49.00 for Wired Bra, $65.00 for Camisole
  • Ship date:  January 15
  • Sizes:  30-40 D-G

  • Sophisticated Pair says:  The sheer quality of the camisole offers tasteful sex appeal while the bra and panty sets are a fantastic option for women who prefer white to beige.
  • Price:  $48.00 for Contour Bra, $48.00 for Wire Bra, and $54.00 for Camisole
  • Ship Date:  January 15
  • Sizes:  30-40 D-G

  • Sophisticated Pair says:  A quintessential bridal set, the Florence captures timeless elegance with its detachable garter straps, lace, and feminine flourishes.
  • Price:  $50.00 for Balconet Bra, $75.00 for Underwired Babydoll
  • Ship Date:  January 15
  • Sizes:  30-40 D-G

  • Sophisticated Pair says:  Between the pale pink satin simplex fabric and the ivory lace touches, the Danielle is my favorite of Parfait’s new styles, and I think it would make a less expensive alternative to Freya’s longline bras.
  • Price:  $54.00 for Contour Bra, $56.00 for Bralette
  • Ship Date:  February 15
  • Sizes:  30-40 D-G

  • Sophisticated Pair says:  A great alternative to the Fiona, I love how the Cassandra swaps out the the light-reflecting fabric on the midsection for a semi-sheer panel.
  • Price:  $45.00 for Balconet Bra, $45.00 for Half Padded Bra, $65.00 for Camisole
  • Ship Date:  April 15
  • Sizes:  30-40 D-G

  • Sophisticated Pair says:  The unique contrast of the underwire gives the bra an edgy design, especially in the black and white version.
  • Price:  $55.00 for Balconet Bra, $52.00 for Bralette
  • Ship Date:  February 15
  • Sizes:  30-40 D-G

I have but one complaint about Parfait’s spring options: Why do they stop at a G cup?  *cries*  However, their existing size range is pretty impressive which gives women of all shapes and sizes a chance to enjoy their lingerie.  Finally, I also have the catalog for the original Affinitas brand which is an A-DD line.  If anyone is interested in seeing these, I’d be happy to follow up with another blog.

Good grief, I love these. This is a beautiful Spring line. It’s lovely and feminine without feeling frilly or fussy, and while I shy away from pale colors generally, I think these would looks so beautiful with lots of different skin tones. I love all the high-waisted shorts, and I hope they never go away, ever. Arabella, Danielle, and Florence, I’m coming for you!

“It’s lovely and feminine without feeling frilly or fussy”–I feel the same way about the collection. They managed to use pale tones and lace accents without feeling too sweet (funny saying that to you with your moniker!), and I love the look of the shorts. Their A-DD line is also pretty amazing, and we’re considering do a small assortment from them as well.

Erica- is this brand a “US” G-cup or an “UK” G-cup. I sorely need a camisole, but I need an FF, so it makes a difference to me.

Hi RMH! Parfait uses UK sizing, so their G cup is a true UK G cup. 🙂

OoOoh! Classic lingerie goodness! I get a nice modern retro feel from a lot of these sets. Simple, but not boring. I’ve looked at some of Affinitas before but have yet to purchase but one of these sets may change that.

The wonderful mix of satin and lace in Sophia and Danielle is very enticing. I like both the white and the nude in the Sophia though the nude is too light for my skin tone . Though plainer, the sheerness of the Madeline especially with the camisole is definitely catching my interest as well. All three have high waist briefs which I always like!

I love the Florence set, especially that babydoll. I really don’t have any use for it though.

I must do more research before I decide. I know their bands run small so I’m not worried about the 30 being too big but the cups are the big question. Off to do more reading! =)

Lindsay, I’ve heard mixed feedback on their bands. When we brought the Casey into the store, I specifically brought in 32-40 bands because I though that would cover 30-38 bands, but I found that people were taking the same size in the Casey as they were in the Freya Deco. Of course, it could just be the Casey runs true-to-size for the band while the other styles are tighter. I hope it works for you because the designs are so cute and feminine!
